Discipleship Program (CDP) is an unique cassette-based
evangelism effort developed by M/E
International Inc, to reach non-literate people
in the villages, tribal belts, urban slums and other
areas of the Country, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and disciple them to become members of the Body of Christ,
through a Bible believing and Bible teaching Church,
Fellowship or Assembly.
Spiritually qualified neo-literate Christians from the villages are selected and trained as evangelists. Each evangelist is provided with a set of four cassettes, a cassette player, a bi-cycle and accessories to cover at least 10 contiguous villages of over 12000 people at a time. These cassettes at large village fairs, weddings and other public functions along with gospel films and video showings for optimum outreach.
CDP is presently in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra,
Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan
with 90 village evangelists covering 900 villages.
